Szustakiewicz is accused of confronting the couple, particularly a man named Waseem Zahran, and shouting expletives regarding his sweatshirt that displayed the word “Palestine.”
According to reports, as Szustakiewicz engaged with the couple, she also attempted to hit the cell phone out of Zahran’s wife’s hands when she began recording the incident. Zahran recounted that Szustakiewicz initially whispered derogatory remarks, which he misinterpreted as a benign comment due to her accent. It wasn’t until she approached them, repeating her inflammatory words, that Zahran realized the hostility behind her words. Tensions escalated when Szustakiewicz allegedly attempted to throw hot coffee on Zahran’s wife, prompting Zahran to intervene and spill the coffee to mitigate the potential harm.
